Master Swim Clinic is for individuals 18 years and older.

The Masters Swim Clinic aims to train and condition adult swimmers in proper competitive swimming techniques, and to teach and/or modify swim strokes as necessary to meet competitive standards. Master swim clinic students have the opportunity to compete in Masters Swimming Meets to test their proficiency. There are up to 20 individuals per class. Classes are held three times a week and are an hour long each.

The masters swim clinic focuses on the following topics:

• Competitive swimming conditioning drills and workouts
• Instruction in proper swimming stroke techniques
• Instructions on body position for different strokes, breathing, turns & starts
• Dry land exercises to develop strength and to develop/maintain flexibility
• Mental preparations for training and competition
• Swimming goal setting

Days: Monday, Wednesday, Friday mornings 6:30 am to 7:30 am

Requirements

Adults joining the Masters clinic must demonstrate the ability to swim 50 yards freestyle, general knowledge of competitive swimming strokes, and an Interest in improving skills in order to be more efficient in the water. 18yrs or older
